The Normande dairy breed

The Norman race appeared to the XVIIIth century. So, to improve these performances, diverse associations and works were realized.

In France, we consider 2 million heads localized mainly in its born cradle: Normandy. It is also very present in frontier regions. Worldwide, there are several zones of setting-up which are mainly situated in South America. There are also development areas in Europe of Este and on continent Oceania.

The Norman is particularly known for her double - capacity. Its capacity to produce a milk rich in proteins and a meat to a remarkable taste. Furthermore, it is about a race which adapts itself to systems of varied breedings.
