System of checking


System of checking is the reference document for the morphological evaluation of animals. It is constantly evolving. The last modifications date 1995.

The animal is examined at the level:

· of the skeleton, described by means of 5 measurements taken with a height gauge in mensurer the cattle, and of 2 notes (Slope of pond and angle of back of the knee)
· of the muscle structure, described with 4 notes, and notation of the state of fattening
· of the udder, described with 7 notes, and recording of the speed of milking
